Environmental Policy

The York House is an environmentally aware establishment which respectfully asks our customers to help reduce our overall impact on the environment.  We ask our customers to help reduce energy consumption by turning off all electrical appliances when not in use and we specify energy saving light bulbs throughout the building.  To reduce water consumption we request that customers do not leave taps or the shower running unnecessarily and to reduce environment pollution we change the bedding every 3 days and towels every 2 days unless otherwise requested.
