Saltholme, just a stone's throw from Middlesbrough's heavy industry and the famous Transporter Bridge, is a beautiful nature reserve home to a variety of wildlife. Seaton Dunes & Common nature reserve is situated in the seaside resort of Seaton Carew, once one of the Victorian’s favourite North-East resorts.  Seaton Dunes is an ideal destination for a relaxing walk along several miles of clean, golden sand.  If you’re lucky you may even get to watch seals basking just a few yards offshore!
